chess (arguably, a sport)
yes--chess is the only sport i enjoy.
purely as a spectator--of course.
so i was just reading a thread and came across a completely new jw 'rule', that of not being allowed to go fishing!..
at least it's new to me as i always enjoyed fishing as did others in my old congregation.
anyone else heard of this or had this imposed on them in they're jw lives?.

hunting is a highly emotive issue in the UK. especially fox hunting.
personally--the idea killing an animal just for the "fun" of it---is appalling.

Fishing
Masturbating
Or any combination of the above
here in the uk new drinking guidelines have been issued which suggest "no more than 14 units a week - equivalent to six pints of beer or seven glasses of wine.".
another piece of the advice which is getting a lot of attention is that "if people drink, it should be moderately over three or more days and that some days should be alcohol-free.".
already people are making cries of "nanny state!
I drink a few beers every day, the occasional wine or Campari, I never get drunk.
